This 6-day adventure takes you on a thrilling hike up Mount Kenya’s Meru Route to Point Lenana, offering an unforgettable experience on one of Kenya’s most iconic mountains. The journey begins in Nairobi, where you’ll be transferred to Mount Kenya for the start of your trek. Over five days, you’ll trek through diverse landscapes, from lush montane forests to alpine meadows and rugged high-altitude terrain. Your ultimate reward is reaching Point Lenana (4,985m), Mount Kenya’s third-highest peak. After successfully summiting, you’ll return to Nairobi on the final day. Arrive in Nairobi and transfer to Mount Kenya’s foothills. Prepare for your hike.
Your trek starts with a gentle climb through the forest to Judmaier Camp, surrounded by towering trees.
Hike across rolling moorland to reach the scenic Lake Ellis.
Ascend to higher altitudes, passing alpine vegetation as you approach Minto’s Hut.
Early morning trek to Point Lenana. Enjoy stunning views before descending back to Minto’s Hut.
Descend and transfer back to Nairobi for your onward journey.
