Arrive in Nairobi, where you’ll meet your guide and enjoy a scenic transfer to Mount Kenya. Take in the breathtaking landscapes as you travel to the Chogoria Route starting point.
Begin your hike from Chogoria Gate (3,000 meters) through lush montane forests. You’ll reach Roadhead Camp, a picturesque stop surrounded by stunning mountain views.
Ascend to Mintos Hut, situated near the striking peaks of Mount Kenya. Experience the unique flora and fauna along the way, including giant lobelias and other high-altitude plants.
Continue your hike to Austrian Hut, where you’ll enjoy stunning views of the nearby peaks. This day allows for acclimatization and preparation for the summit attempt.
Wake up early for the summit ascent to Point Lenana. Stand atop Mount Kenya and witness breathtaking sunrise views before descending back to Austrian Hut for rest.
Begin your descent towards Meru Mount Kenya Bandas. Enjoy a leisurely hike, surrounded by the natural beauty of the mountain as you approach your accommodation.
