What do I have to prepare for a Daytrip in Kenya?

Return Button

As a daytrip is a limited time that you will spend travelling, you don’t have to bring as many things as you need for a long safari travel or Mount Kenya climb. Nonetheless we recommend you prepare your daypack according to your booked daytrip. A daypack bag can be rented if needed.

A minimum preparation for a daypack includes the following items:

  • good shoes
  • a safari hat
  • sunglasses
  • sun screen
  • mosquito repellant
  • binocular if needed
  • your camera
  • a light jacket
  • a towel (if your activity includes swimming and waterfalls)
  • cash for tips or souvenirs
  • an additional shirt
  • rain jacket
